Mission Snapshot
City of Dharma Realm Instilling Goodness Developing Virtue School (Dharma Realm School) is a K-12 bilingual private day and boarding school in West Sacramento, CA. Our elementary, middle and high school education is more than just about providing rigorous academic and interdisciplinary studies. Rooted in Buddhist principles of mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom, our programs aim to help students grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
We uphold the Eight Virtues: filiality, fraternity, trustworthiness, righteousness, loyalty, propriety, incorruptibility, and a sense of shame. These values guide our students toward moral character, kindness, and harmony within our community.

“At this school, I received much more than academic knowledge. I received moral education. I learned the importance of honesty, respect, compassion, responsibility, and gratitude. These values will guide me long after I leave this campus. I would like to express my gratitude to my teachers. Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and belief in me. You taught me not only how to succeed in school, but also how to become a person of good character.”
