Dietary Philosophy
We believe what we eat matters. That’s why our kitchen serves 100% healthy homestyle vegetarian meals made with care. We aim to provide our students with top-quality and nutritious hot lunches throughout the entire school year packed with veggies, plant-based protein, and healthy carbs.
Why Vegetarian
A plant-based vegetarian diet promotes student health, improves environmental sustainability, and nurtures compassionate livelihood.
Zero Waste
At Dharma Realm School, students practice mindfulness and gratitude when eating. They understand the food on their plate requires hard work and dedication—from farmers planting and harvesting to the kitchen staff washing, preparing, and cooking the food—and take only what they need.
Lunch Application
Students are automatically enrolled in Dharma Realm School lunch program after completing the application process and have confirmed enrollment. To opt out, please email info@cdrigdvs.org. Students who choose to bring their own lunch need to make sure their lunch is lacto-vegetarian, containing no eggs, onion, garlic, chives, shallots, leeks.
Payment Plan
See tuition for pricing. Families can break down lunch payments into manageable installments, including monthly, quarterly if fees cannot be paid in full. Late payments are not allowed and could incur a late fee. Payments are not refundable. Any unused lunch money due to student absences will not be lost and will be transferred to the next payment cycle.
Monthly Plan: Payments are due at the end of each month.
Quarterly Plan: Two payments, typically due at the end of August and January.
Single Payment Plans: Payments typically due in August.
